| Penerangan CU | The CU title describes the competency in Anti-Pollution Operation. He or She must be able to conduct Anti-Pollution measures onboard and terminal / harbour pollution. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to identify type and location of pollution, alert tug boat crew and situational assessment, identify anti-pollution equipment and tactical approach, perform anti-pollution measures and monitoring, monitor housekeeping activities, reporting to relevant authority and interested party. The outcome of this competency is to develop the Tug Master in Anti Pollution measures onboard and in terminal / harbour in accordance with Port/Employer expectation, best practices and MARPOL 73/78 requirement. Tug master must trained in Anti-Pollution exercise. |
