| Penerangan CU | The Competency Unit Title describes the competency needed by person in conducting Radar System Quality Assurance Activities. Quality Assurance refers to the Engineering Activities implemented in a Quality System so that requirements for a product or service will be fulfilled. It is the systematic measurement, comparison with a standard, monitoring of processes and an associated feedback loop that confers error prevention. Two principles of Quality Assurance include: • "Fit for Purpose" (the product should be suitable for the intended purpose); and • "Right First Time" (mistakes should be eliminated) Quality Assurance includes the followings: • Management of the quality of raw materials, assemblies, products and components; • Services related to production, and management; • Production and inspection processes; and • Testing Processes He or she is directly involved and responsible in carrying out Radar System Quality Assurance activities in accordance with customer requirement and Company’s Operating Procedures and good Industrial Practices. A person who is competent in this Competency Unit shall be able to Prepare Radar System Quality Assurance Documentations, Administer Radar System Quality Assurance Documentations, Monitor Radar System Performance, Conduct Test Equipment and Measurement Devices Calibration Process and Prepare Radar System Quality Assurance Report in order to meet customer and industry requirement. The outcome of this Competency Unit is persons that shall be able to provide excellent and quality Radar System Quality Assurance to ensure customer satisfaction guaranteed, prompt action taken in accordance with industry Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and company’s policies, rules and regulations. |
