| Penerangan CU | Computer aided design application is a competency of creating, producing, storing and preparing design variations of a mechanical drawing electronically in two or three dimensions so that they can be viewed, printed, or programmed directly into automated operation and or manufacturing systems. It is compulsory to sketch mechanical drawing using accurate information as inaccurate information may cause deflection in ideology, products output and construction that are detrimental and costly. The person who is competent in computer aided design application will be able to obtain CADD application systems & requirements, Install CADD Application, Operate CADD Application systems, Evaluate CADD application Performance and Prepare CADD operation report. The outcome of this CU is to meet occupational skills standard which incorporate the skills, knowledge and attitude to be delivered systematically. . |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to produce clean and precise mechanical drawing of an existing or non-existing object and or any parts of it, sectional views, detail assemblies and or sub-assemblies, hidden parts, its layout, in two and or three dimension, using symbols and methodology that complied with the specified standards, at a clear view angle, using a suitable accurate scale, drawn in an accurate dimensions, providing objects information as required and or specified, using a specified computer aided design and drafting software, neatly and clearly printed or plotted, with the end product could be confidently referred and become an understandable and effective communication media by any parties in accordance with organizational requirements. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to: Prepare CADD software and requirements Perform CADD application systems installation Perform CADD two dimensional Mechanical Drawing development Perform CADD three dimensional Mechanical Drawing development Perform CADD two dimensional assembly drawing development Perform CADD three dimensional assembly drawing development Prepare CADD operation report. |
