| Penerangan CU | Fibre Optic Cable (FOC) network design and planning is specialized processes leading to a successful installation and operation of a fibre optic network. It includes determining the type of communication systems which will be carried over the network, the geographic layout (Inside Plant (ISP) or Outside Plant (OSP), the transmission equipment required and the fibre network over which it will operate for service meets the needs of the subscriber and operator The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to identify fibre optic network requirement, prepare preliminary fibre optic network design, prepare project proposal, conduct site survey and prepare fibre optic detail network design The outcome of this competency is to produce efficient personnel to ensure the specialized processes leading to a successful installation and operation of a fibre optic network with company policy, SOP and Local Authority regulation. |
