| Penerangan CU | Fibre Optic Cable (FOC) network implementation management describes the competency in planning and monitoring FOC installation Outside Plant (OSP) using several different installation processes. Proper planning is important to ensure the job is installed properly, on time and meets cost objectives. The installation process will depend on the nature of the installation and the type of cable being used. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to identify Fibre Optic Cable (FOC) network installation requirements, prepare Fibre Optic Cable (FOC) installation schedule, prepare Fibre Optic Cable (FOC) network installation work order, monitor Fibre Optic Cable (FOC) network installation and update installation progress report The outcome of this competency is to ensure that the fibre optic cables are properly installed in accordance with company policy, SOP and Local Authority regulation. |
