He or she is the person who responsible to maintain the precision of ship electronic special instruments to it best state to ensure interconnectivity to other system. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to organized electronic special equipment servicing job schedule, carry out electronic special equipment resources acquisition, perform electronic special equipment servicing, testing and prepare ship electronic special equipment maintenance report. The outcome of this competency is to provide excellent maintenance work on electronic special equipment to ensure functionality of equipment and smooth ship operation in accordance with The 2010 Manila Convention Standard Training Certification and Watch-keeping (STCW 2010) and industry standard of practice. |
