| Penerangan CU | The CU title describes the competency in planning of electrical maintenance work scope requirement. He or she is the person who responsible to coordinate preventive, corrective and breakdown electrical maintenance planning of the ship. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to prepare electrical maintenance work scope requirements, carry out electrical maintenance resources requirement, perform emergency response plan, monitor electrical maintenance planning execution, and prepare electrical maintenance planning coordination report to meet establishment requirement. The outcome of this competency is to ensure that the planning coordination of the electrical maintenance activities and emergency response plan on ship are in compliance to both local and international marine regulatory bodies and standards such as Malaysia Marine Department (MARDEP), International Maritime Organization (IMO), Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS), Prevention of Pollution from Ship (MARPOL) and The 2010 Manila Convention Standard Training Certification and Watch-keeping (STCW 2010). |
