The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to carry out Watchkeeping taking and handing over, maintain good Watchkeeping practices, monitor operational parameters and carry out routine specific duties. The outcome of this competency is to ensure safe and efficient operation of engine room equipments and systems in accordance with IMO convention requirements. |
