| Penerangan CU | Ship hull piping fitting is a process of installing the piping, fittings, mechanism, instrument and other apparatus used on a ship for circulating, loading and discharging fluids in accordance with ship layout piping diagrams stipulated by classification society. The person who is competent in ship piping fitting shall be able to prepare ship hull piping fitting requirements, perform gas piping fitting, perform fuel piping fitting, perform hydraulic piping fitting, perform water piping fitting and prepare work completion report in accordance with manufacturer’s specification and classification society requirements. The outcome of this competency is to ensure that the piping system is functioning effectively, no joining defects and operating in accordance with manufacturer’s specification and classification society requirements |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The outcome of this competency is to ensure that the piping system is functioning effectively, no joining defects and operating in accordance with manufacturer’s specification and classification society requirements. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:- • Prepare ship piping fitting requirements; • Perform gas piping fitting; • Perform fuel piping fitting; • Perform hydraulic piping fitting; • Perform water piping fitting; and • Prepare work completion report. |
