| Penerangan CU | Ship machinery, equipment, furniture and foundation fittings is the process of where all the out fittings are assembled and integrated together to function in accordance with ship operational and classification requirement’s. The person who is competent in Ship machinery, equipment, furniture and foundation fitting shall be able to prepare ship machinery, equipment, furniture and fittings installation requirements, perform engine room machinery and equipment foundation fitting, perform deck equipment foundation fitting, perform steering system foundation fitting, perform safety equipment foundation fitting, perform furniture and fittings installation and prepare work completion report in accordance with manufacturers specification. The outcome of this competency is to ensure that all the ship machinery, equipment, furniture and fittings installation are functioning effectively, vibration free and speed compliance achieved in accordance with manufacturer’s specification. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The outcome of this competency is to ensure that all the ship machinery, equipment, furniture and foundation fitting are functioning effectively, vibration free and speed compliance achieved in accordance with manufacturer’s specification. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:- • Prepare ship machinery, equipment, furniture and foundation fitting requirements; • Perform engine room machinery and equipment foundation fitting; • Perform deck equipment foundation fitting; • Perform steering system foundation fitting; • Perform safety equipment foundation fitting; • Perform furniture and fitting installation; and Prepare work completion report |
