Penerangan CUThis competency unit describes the skills, knowledge and attitude requirements in performing sales administration and related activities . The role of sales administrator is to administer sales and sales related activities as specified to achieve the targeted sales volume and revenue within a specified period in a long term sales plan, in order to achieve the overall organizational profitability and objectives.
The person who is competent in sales administration will be able to Perform sales policies, procedures development and strategic planning formulation, perform Sales Systems development, establish sales quotas, monitor sales activities, perform after sales services arrangement verification and perform periodical sales report preparation in accordance with organisational requirement.
An effective sales administrator should be able to plan, organize, lead and control all resources in order to achieve SME sales volume and revenue target, and continuously improve sales mix and product/service, enlarging sales area coverage and manage total product/service life cycle for a long term organizational success.

The outcome of this CU is to meet occupational skills standard which incorporate the skills, knowledge and attitude to be delivered systematically.
