| Penerangan CU | Cargo Operation Administration is a process of ensuring that all cargo, which consists of deck, under deck, dangerous goods and heavy lifts are loaded, secured, discharged and transferred to respective clients as per cargo manifest. The person who is competent in cargo operation administration will be able to assist during the whole process of cargo operation which starts by identifying and preparing the requirements for specific cargo operation handling, including gears and equipment, supervise in loading, securing, discharging and transferring of deck and under deck cargoes including dangerous goods and heavy lifts and prepare the vessel for departure in accordance with safe working practices. The outcome of this competency unit is to ensure that cargoes are loaded, secured, discharged and transferred in a safe working condition as per cargo manifest |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The outcome of this competency unit is to ensure that all cargo, which consists of deck, under deck, dangerous goods and heavy lifts are loaded, secured, discharged and transferred to respective clients in a safe manner. In particular the trainees will be able to: 1. Review cargo stowage plan and list prepared by client. 2. Assure cargo operation is safe & ready to commence. 3. Brief shipboard personnel involved in the cargo operation. 4. Prepare Job Hazard Analysis/Job Safety Analysis (JHA/JSA) 5. Coordinate cargo operations including cargo that need special care |
