| Penerangan CU | A hull is the watertight body of a ship or vessel. Above the hull are the superstructure and/or deckhouse. The structure of the hull varies depending on the vessel type. In a typical modern steel ship, the structure consists of watertight and non-tight decks, major transverse and longitudinal members called bulkheads, intermediate members such as girders, stringers and webs, and minor members called ordinary transverse frames, frames, or longitudinal. Hence, this CU specifically developed to perform various analysis based on design and carrying out test on the ship hull model. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to Identify Ship Hull Design development requirements, produce key plan drawing, perform hydrostatic analysis, perform scantling analysis, produce ship hull model, carry out model test and prepare ship hull design development report. The outcome of this competency is to develop working design for the ship hull construction which is according to naval architectural design and other relevant maritime standards and the Classification Societies. |
