| Penerangan CU | The CU title describes the competency in tool & cutter grinding operation. He or she is the person at the work area to perform tool & cutter grinder operation. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to interpret detail drawing, select cutting tool to be ground, select tool & cutter grinder machine, setup grinding wheel, setup cutting tool to be ground, execute tool & cutter grinder operation, inspect finished cutting tools and submit cutting tools with recording data to superior. The outcome of this competency is to provide excellence tool & cutter grinding process according to drawing requirement as per company’s policy, rules and regulation. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to provide excellent tool & cutter grinder operation to ensure the re-sharpen cutting tools in good conditions. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainee will be able to:- 1) Interpret detail drawing. 2) Select cutting tool to be ground. 3) Select tool & cutter grinder machine. 4) Setup grinding wheel. 5) Setup cutting tools to be ground. 6) Execute tool & cutter grinder operation. 7) Inspect finished cutting tool. 8) Submit finished cutting tools with recording data to superior. |
