The person who is competent in Gas Fitting Shielded Metal Arc Welding will be able to prepare Tools, equipment, material and consumables for welding, carry out fit up on bracket materials, carry out welding on the bracket material and prepare welding checklist. The outcome of this competency is to complete the welding work using the right process and meeting the requirements of the welding procedure.
