Penerangan CUPoultry Slaughtering Process Halal Critical Point Analysis describes the competency in in interpreting the findings of the compliance report to improve policies and procedures for the benefits of the employees, business and importantly the halal process.

A competent person in this CU shall be able to analyse poultry receiving compliance issue, analyse poultry stunning compliance issues, analyse poultry scalding compliance issues, analyse product packaging and labelling compliance issues, analyse product storage compliance issues and analyse product transportation compliance issues.

The outcome of this competency is to ensure any improvement on policies or procedures are in line with latest Malaysia Halal Standard 1500 and Animal Welfare Act requirements and in accordance with JAKIM guidelines for Halal Assurance Management System (HAS).

To perform the CU, the competency owner is required to be a practicing Muslim and fully understands in poultry handling, stunning method and scalding system.

Objektif PembelajaranThe person who is competent in this competency unit shall be able to analyse poultry receiving, stunning and scalding and product storage and distribution compliance issues. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:-
1. Analyse poultry receiving compliance issues
2. Analyse poultry stunning compliance issues
3. Analyse poultry scalding compliance issues
4. Analyse product packaging and labelling compliance issues
5. Analyse product storage compliance issues
6. Analyse product transportation compliance issues
