| Penerangan CU | The CU title describes the competency in drains cleansing. He or she is the person who is responsible to clean the drains and ensure no blockage for water flow. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to identify drains cleansing requirement and specification, prepare drains cleansing tools and equipment, perform drains cleansing, place all accumulated waste into suitable container, ensure drains cleansing activities accomplished and report drains cleansing activities to superior. The outcome of this competency is to ensure drain cleansing is carried out as per schedule and work specification. Water could flow freely without any blockages in the drain. This CU is for normal open drains cleansing activities. However, for confined space the candidate needs to attend special training by NIOSH called Authorised Entrance and Standby Person (AESP). |
