| Penerangan CU | The CU title describes the competency in head gear making. Headgear is the name given to any element of clothing which is worn on the skull and/other parts of the head, either for practical reasons such as physical protection/ornamental, ceremonial/ symbolical purposes. Examples of headgear product are such as caps, hair cover, hats, hoods, turban and wigs. The personnel who are competent in this competency unit shall be able to interpret customer requirements, differentiates and match the machine, auxiliary equipment and materials to be used and confirm production headgear making setup correctly, execute production activities and produce head gear product as per process requirements. The outcome of this competency is to produce a headgear from the take measurement from customer face and head, drafting paper pattern, cut fabric from the paper pattern layout, sewing and assemble the headgear parts, fitting and finishing head gear. All products are produced in accordance with standard operating procedure, customer and product specifications. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to provide head dress to meet customer specifications. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:- identify head dress making requirements and specifications; carry out body measurement activities for head dress making; carry out drafting materials, tools and equipment for head dress making; carry out fabric cutting activities for head dress making; carry out sewing activities for head dress making; carry out fitting activities for head dress making; carry out finishing activities for head dress making; and record head dress making activities. |
