| Penerangan CU | Scripts contain one or more instructions (script steps) to automate repetitive or difficult tasks. Server-side scripting is about programming the behaviour of the server. Scripts can do tasks such as keep track of server status by scanning ports on server and reporting a server downtime via email or SMS. Script files are created and used in various scripting and programming languages such as batch files, shell scripts, and C++. By operating on the server-side updating to new versions, fixing bugs, implementing code patches become a simple process of updating the server machine. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to identify scripting language, create server scripts, configure and test the script and plan for server deployment The outcome of this competency is to develop scripts that automate common server administrative tasks. |
