| Penerangan CU | Disaster recovery management is the process in preparing for recovery whenever a company encounters a natural or human-induced disaster. The objective is to ensure continuation of computer system technology infrastructure critical and continuity of business after such unexpected disruptive events. The person who is competent in computer system disaster recovery management shall be able to assess a company’s computer system disaster recovery requirement, plan and establish a comprehensive disaster recovery plan, simulate the events and initiate the disaster recovery SOP. The person also shall be able to review the disaster recovery plan, risks and threats, and updates on hardware, software and tools to continuously improve the plan and related SOP. The outcome of this competency is to prepare a company for unexpected disaster, ensuring the continued operation of IT related systems and rapid recovery if such events occurred. |
