| Penerangan CU | Digital storage management describes management tasks and decisions surrounding the ingestion, annotation, cataloguing, storage, retrieval and distribution of digital data such as company’s data, documents, audio-visual data and image data. The objective is to store digital data and make them available to authorised network users. The person who is competent in digital storage management shall be able to assess company’s need and requirement in term of storage system infrastructure, type of digital data, the resources and security strategies. Further, the person shall also be able to install storage infrastructure according to the digital storage management plan, test and improve it based on test result, carry out digital storage housekeeping and perform archival activities to the digital data content The outcome of this competency is to provide a safe and secure environment to store and retrieve digital data that support business activities. . |
