Penerangan CUHalal Poultry Slaughterhouse Operations Supervision describes the competency in preparing the training schedule and handling of Halal slaughtering practise for new slaughter man and checker and coordinating the slaughterhouse Halal critical point execution.

A competent person in this CU shall be able to prepare Halal slaughtering training schedule, handle Halal slaughtering practise, assist slaughter man-cum-checker performance appraisal, coordinate Halal slaughterhouse critical point implementation and produce Halal poultry slaughterhouse reports

The outcome of this competency is to ensure the new slaughter man-cum-checker is able to perform Halal poultry slaughtering in accordance with Al Quran and Sunnah, latest Good Hygiene Practices (GHP), Malaysian Halal Standard 1500, Manual Prosedur Persijilan Halal Malaysia and Malaysian Protocol for Halal Meat and Poultry Productions requirements; and also to ensure the slaughterhouse and processing procedures are implemented according to latest Halal Assurance Management System (HAS) requirements.

The personnel who aspire to be competent in this competency must in prior have the understanding of animal slaughtering in Al Quran and Sunnah.

Objektif PembelajaranThe person who is competent in this competency unit shall be able to perform operations supervision on new slaughter man-cum-checker and coordinating Halal critical point in compliance with Halal Assurance Management System (HAS), Good Hygiene Practices (GHP), Malaysian Halal Standard 1500, and Malaysian Protocol for Halal Meat and Poultry Productions. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:-
1. Prepare Halal slaughtering training schedule
2. Handle Halal slaughtering practise
3. Assist slaughter man-cum-checker performance
4. Coordinate Halal slaughterhouse critical point implementation
5. Produce Halal poultry slaughterhouse reports
