Penerangan CUHalal Poultry Slaughterhouse Machinery and Equipment Preparation describe the competency in ensuring machines and equipment operations are functioning and properly maintained for Halal poultry slaughtering process.

A competent person in this CU shall be able to inspect poultry slaughterhouse machinery and equipment inspection, monitor poultry slaughterhouse machinery and equipment maintenance and conduct poultry slaughterhouse machinery and equipment trial run.

The outcome of this competency is to ensure all works and activities are performed in accordance with Malaysian Halal Standard 1500, Malaysian Protocol of Meat and Poultry Productions requirements; and latest Animal Welfare Practice Act.
Halal Poultry Slaughterhouse Storage and Distribution describe the competencies in poultry carcass grading, weighing, packaging, storing and coordinating of Halal product distribution.

A competent person in this CU shall be able to prepare poultry carcass grading and weighing, handle Halal product packaging, handle Halal product storage and coordinate Halal product distribution.


The outcome of this competency is to ensure the dress carcass and meat cut is measured; packing is validated; cold store room is clean; vehicle and transporters personnel is clean in accordance with to latest Malaysian Halal Standard 1500 and Malaysian Protocol for the Halal Meat and Poultry Productions; LIFO, FIFO and FEFO requirements.

To perform the CU, the competency owner is required to understand the product grading and weighing, the storage and distribution of Halal product based on the principle of Halalan toyyiban.

Objektif PembelajaranThe person who is competent in this competency unit shall be able to perform storage and distribution of Halal poultry product with FIFO, LIFO and FEFO methods and in compliance with latest Malaysian Halal Standard and company meets quality standards. Upon completion of this competency units, trainees will be able to:-
1. Prepare poultry carcass grading and weighing
2. Handle Halal product packaging
3. Handle Halal product storage
4. Coordinate Halal product distribution
