Penerangan CUHalalan Toyyiban Poultry Slaughterhouse Practice describes the competency in preparing and cleaning of slaughtering cutting tools, slaughter man – cum checker personal protective equipment and pre slaughtering work area.

A competent person in this CU shall be able to carry out slaughtering cutting tools cleaning, carry out slaughter man-cum-checker personal protective equipment cleaning and carry out pre poultry slaughtering work area cleaning.


The outcome of this competency is to ensure the cutting tools, personal protective equipment and pre poultry slaughtering work area are cleaned and in accordance with latest Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Malaysian Halal Standard 1500; Malaysian Protocol for Halal Meat and Poultry Productions; and company cleaning procedure.

To perform the CU, the competency owner is required to understand the procedures based on Halalan toyyiban requirements.
