| Penerangan CU | Timber receiving management is the activities where the timber or log movement is managed, start from the delivery acceptance until the timber or log is properly stored. Timber receiving management is performed by preparing timber storage area, checking timber delivery order (DO), identifying timber handling equipment requirements, supervising operators in timber loading and unloading activity and upkeep timber handling record. The outcome of this competency is to ensure received timber is handled and stored properly in accordance with company SOP and comply with Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994 and its regulations. | Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to administer the timber/log movement from receiving to storing. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:- · Identify timber receiving works requirement. · Prepare timber storage area. · Check timber DO. · Identify timber handling equipment requirements · Supervise timber unloading and loading activity. · Upkeep timber handling record. · Verify timber handling record. · Verify timber DO record. · Report timber receiving management activities |
