| Penerangan CU | Timber grading supervision is a process, which to ensure the timber grading activities runs smoothly as per work instructions, regulatory/ authority bodies’ compliancy and company SOP. This process is performed by identifying timber grading plan, planning timber grading control activities, preparing timber grading supervision requirements and supervising timber grading activities. The outcome of this competency is to ensure the output of production meets company target based on work instruction and comply with MTIB’s Current Regulation, Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and Factories and Machinery Act 1967. The personnel who are to be competent in this competency must in prior have the following competency unit:- i. Wood Identification (ID) Process ii. Cutting System Grading iii. Defect System Grading |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to ensure the timber grading activities runs smoothly as per work instructions, regulatory/ authority bodies’ compliancy and company SOP. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:- · Identify timber grading plan. · Plan timber grading control activities. · Prepare timber grading supervision requirements. · Carry out timber grading supervision activities. · Report timber grading supervision activities. |
