| Penerangan CU | The computer network maintenance is an important part in computer network administration to ensure networks operate correctly with minimal interruption. It is a process in monitoring of keeping network in a good state of performance which refer to preventive and corrective maintenance. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to carry out computer network physical check up, software update, server housekeeping, network configuration and inter-connectivity tests, scan network threats and performance optimization according to manufacturer instruction manual and computer network system maintenance checklist. The outcome of this competency is prepare excellent condition of computer network in term of functionality and reliability in accordance with computer network system technical support requirements to meet users’ requirement. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to manage network that involves corrective and preventive measures to ensure excellent condition of computer network in term of functionality and reliability in accordance with computer network system technical support requirements. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to: - • Analyse network maintenance requirement. • Develop computer network maintenance management plan. • Manage computer network maintenance. • Produce computer network maintenance report. |
