Penerangan CUAdvertising And Promotion Operation Management is the process of administering A&P business practices to create the highest level of efficiency possible within an organization. Operations management is concerned with converting materials and labour into goods and services as efficiently as possible to maximize the profit of an organization. A project starts from the point a brief is given from the client to planning then execution up to post-project follow ups. The first step to managing Advertising and Operation Management is to assess the advertising operation requirement or parameters. Evaluation of key project deliverables are key milestones at this juncture to ensure there are no misalignment or of-tracked from the main objectives. The Manager will assess among others budget, timing, man power allocation and other resources actual utilisation vs. target. Once the manager is satisfied with the report, this will be presented his superior, usually the Accounts Director or Clients Servicing Director for concurrence or feedback. Once the approval has been obtained, the report will then be submitted to the clients. The person who is competent in this area shall be able to confidently evaluate customer requirements from the job order, differentiates and match the information, resources and materials to be used and confirm stakeholders review process correctly, execute planning and presentation activities according to work requirements and process procedure. He should have a clear perspective on the whole deliverable of this activity as he is the gatekeeper towards finalisation of the operation. The outcome of this competency is to ensure the smooth execution of all projects as per briefed and to balance costs with revenue in order to achieve the highest net operating profit possible, taking into account factors such as management of resources, compliance to regulations and most importantly to satisfy the clients requirements through delivering a project that meets the standards/expectations of the clients.

Objektif PembelajaranThe person who is competent in this competency unit shall be able to ensure the smooth execution of all projects as per briefed and to balance costs with revenue in order to achieve the highest net operating profit possible, taking into account factors such as management of resources, compliance to regulations and most importantly to satisfy the clients requirements through delivering a project that meets the standards/expectations of the clients. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:-
