| Penerangan CU | Water reticulation pipe installation describe the competency in performing water reticulation pipe and fitting including pipe special, pipe trenching, backfilling and pipe crossing installation. This also work involves in selecting correct tools, materials and equipment to be used in a specific working condition. A competent person in this CU shall be able to prepare tools, equipment and machinery, prepare water reticulation pipes and joint, prepare fittings and specials, carry out pipe handling and storage, conduct water reticulation setting out, perform public utilities detection, align water reticulation pipe route, prepare pipe trench, prepare pipe bedding, backfilling and compaction, lay and joint pipes, fitting and specials, install marker post and carry out pipe crossing. The outcome of this competency is to ensure that all works are in compliance with Occupational Safety And Health Act (OSHA) requirement and Uniform Technical Guideline (UTG). |
