| Penerangan CU | Pre-production is the process of preparing all the elements involved in a film, play or other performance. Pre-production refers to the tasks that must be completed or executed before filming or shooting begins. This includes tasks such as hiring actors or models, building sets, budgeting, planning, scheduling, renting equipment and tests, to name a few of the many pre-production tasks. For a small video company, pre-production may refer to everything that happens before shooting begins, for example, meeting with the client, research, storyboarding, location planning, etc. For feature films, pre-production is more specific and only begins when other milestones have been met such as financing, screenplay, casting and major staffing. He or she is responsible to monitor the project schedule meet deadline and the direction of visual effects concept based on project and clients requirement. The person who competent in this CU shall be able to perform visual effects pre-production meeting, design visual effects concepts, carry out visual effects creative planning, prepare production time frame, prepare visual effects budget planning and present work in progress schedule to client. The outcome of this competency is to ensure the visual effects production meets project’s deadline and budget allocated. |
