| Penerangan CU | Engine Components Cleaning describes the competencies required to perform the various types of cleaning on the engine components prior to inspection. The engine components may be cleaned using water, mixture of chemicals or mechanical methods. All component parts of the engine must be thoroughly cleaned of oil, grease, and carbon, and dried prior to inspection. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to perform water-based cleaning, perform mechanical cleaning and perform chemical cleaning. The outcome of this CU is safe and correct application of engine components cleaning methods according to manufacturer specifications and workplace safety and environment regulatory requirements prior to component inspection. |
