| Penerangan CU | Engine Dismantling describes the competencies required to dismantle mechanical, electrical, and electronic and instrumentation components for servicing. Dismantling is performed according to engine manual specifications. Prior to dismantling, the engine has to be washed and visual inspection carried out to identify external damages. The engine components and accessories are then removed using specified methods, tools, equipment and materials so as not to cause any damage. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to prepare engine for dismantling, perform visual inspection, dismantle engine components, label engine components and arrange engine components at designated areas for traceability. The outcome of this CU is proper dismantling of engine into its components according to engine manual specifications and in compliance with workplace safety and environmental regulatory requirements. |
