| Penerangan CU | Rotating Equipment Maintenance Operations describe the competency of high precision works with minimal tolerance for error. Works to be delivered in a safe, timely manner and meeting quality deliverables. A competent person in this CU shall be able to interpret work instructions, check tools & equipment, prepare foundation surface, install & level skid, perform shaft alignment and connection of piping & accessories and prepare Close-Out Report. The outcome of this competency is to be able to deliver quality job in a timely manner whilst meeting the Company’s requirements. To perform the CU, the competency owner is required to understand the detailed work procedures for the given task. The list of rotating equipment categories is very wide; among others are: 1.Pumps such as single-stage and multi-stages centrifugal pump, vertical pump, screw pump, plunger pump, submersible pump and many more. 2.Compressors such as piston compressor, screw compressor, centrifugal compressor and many more. 3.Turbo machinery 4.Gearboxes 5.Reciprocating engines 6.AFC, mixers and fans The competency focus in this Level 3 shall be based on the following criteria: ?Power rating: between 50KW up-to 200KW ?Equipment / Complexity: centrifugal pump (multi-stages), positive displacement (PD) pump (diaphragm, plunger, piston, lobe, screw), compressor, AFC fan & mixers ?Service type: utilities / HC / waste water. The personnel who aspires to be competent in this competency must in prior having the following competencies: i.ability to read schematic diagrams and cross-sectional drawings. ii.ability to read and understand work procedures and work instructions. iii. ability to handle resources; manpower, tools & equipment and materials & consumables. |
