| Penerangan CU | The CU title describes the competency in mechanical harvesting machine maintenance and servicing He or she is responsible for the inspection, servicing and maintenance of a mechanised harvesting machine to ensure maximum utilisation of the equipment. The personnel who are competent in this CU shall carry out daily machine inspection, pre-operational servicing on machine and attachments, monitor, record and evaluate machine performance. The outcome of this competency is that a mechanised harvesting machine is maintained according to manufacturer’s specifications to ensure a high level of availability for tree felling, processing or extraction. |
