| Penerangan CU | The CU title describes the competency in planning for Mechanised Harvesting operations. He or she is responsible for assessing all physical features of a plantation area and compiling an economically viable operational plan for a mechanised harvesting operation. The personnel who are competent in this CU shall be able to assess an area for harvesting by mechanical harvesting systems, identify road access and log landing sites, determine the felling, forwarding and extraction routes, and estimate log production by harvesting setting. The outcome of this competency is that an operational plan for a mechanised harvesting operation is produced. |
