| Penerangan CU | Proper maintenance prevents premature equipment failure which may cause injuries or fatalities. Drilling equipment is subjected to stress and vibrations during drilling which may lead to wear and tear. Drilling equipment maintenance activities are carried out by doing inspection, services, repair or replace. The competent person will be able to plan for different types of maintenance activities, manage and monitor maintenance activities carried out, monitor hazards due to maintenance activities as well and crew team. This CU covers a range of activities from plan and organize equipment maintenance activities, manage mobility of stock and equipment, maintain inventories of all items needed on site as well as write drilling equipment maintenance reports. The outcome of this CU is the development of competencies to manage consumption of materials and equipment for the drilling operations to ensure defined outputs are met, conduct and timeline followed. |
