| Penerangan CU | Motor vehicle smoke emission testing describes the steps and procedures in examining vehicles for smoke emission. It is carried out during initial, routine, special and hire purchase inspection. The steps and procedures are different between petrol vehicles and diesel vehicles, both using different designated equipment for the test. Competent vehicle examiner shall be able to examine and operate equipment for smoke test emission for both petrol and diesel vehicles and also inspect equipment condition and functionality, perform smoke test for vehicles. The outcome of this competency is to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of vehicle examiner to carry out smoke testing for both diesel and petrol vehicles |
