The person who is competent in larval rearing shall be able to prepare larval culture equipment, prepare larval culture water, dispense larval feed, monitor larval quality, larval transfer process and perform larval rearing quality control in accordance with species specification. The outcome of this competency unit is to ensure production of healthy larvae, free from disease and exhibit high survival rate for nursery operation. |
