| Penerangan CU | The CU title describes the competency in emergency response implementation in a forest plantation cable harvesting operation. He or she will direct emergency response activities under instruction. The personnel who are competent in this CU shall be able to direct basic forest fire prevention activities, fire monitoring duties, forest fire patrol and first-line forest fire response in a forest plantation situation; coordinate first aid response; organise basic work place health and safety activities; and participate in specialist emergency response training. The outcome of this competency is enhanced emergency response readiness in forest plantation cable harvesting operations. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to response to emergency in a forest plantation cable harvesting operation. Upon completion of this competency unit trainees will be able to:- - Carry out forest fire prevention activities. - Carry out basic forest fire monitoring activities. - Carry out first-line response to small forest fires. - Coordinate First Aid practice in a workplace environment. - Organise basic health and safety activities in the workplace. - Undertake specialist emergency response training. |
