| Penerangan CU | Computer-aided design (CAD) is the use of computer to assist in creations of designs. A process that allows designers to develop a variety of design on-screen at a greater level of flexibility. Designers and draftsman were able to quickly create, generate, modify and use the models to produce 2D or 3D drawings. 3D-CAD drawings often include a computer-generated image of the design, as well as its dimensions, processes, and materials. The competent person will be able to use computers to assist in creation of designs and helps the designer during the process of modelling, assembling, producing 2D drawings, running simulations and improves communication through documentation. This CU covers a range of activities from identify offshore structure requirements, construct offshore structure 3D model design, review offshore structure 3D model design and update offshore structure 3D model design. The outcome of this CU is the development of competencies to visualize and create 3D design model. |
