| Penerangan CU | Production is a process that encompasses the activities of procurement, allocation and utilisation of resources (including human resource) whereby raw materials are converted into semi-finished or finished products. In piping fabrication, production cycle starts from the fabrication work till installation and handover of the completed piping system. The main objective of piping fabrication production management is to deliver the fabricated pipes demanded by the client in the most efficient and economical way. The person who is competent is this CU shall be able to identify piping fabrication production requirements, manage production team, fabrication and installation work, control production cost, manage change and additional orders, provide advice on progress payment, participate in project handover and prepare management and close-out reports. The outcome of this CU is the development of management competencies required for efficient execution of the piping fabrication process in accordance with project and client specifications. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to manage piping fabrication production in accordance with piping and project specifications.
