He or she will prepare, operate and maintain a mechanised harvesting machine to fell, extract, or process trees The personnel who are competent in this CU shall be able to operate mechanized machine; fell extract and process trees; select, remove and fit cutting attachments; and carry out basic machine maintenance. The outcome of this competency is that the basic operation of a mechanized harvesting machine is carried out according to operational requirements. |
