Penerangan CUAgriculture & Agro-based products sales business development is how to managing sales and sales strategy, business plan development and implementation, and results for the agriculture & agro-based products to commercial market sector. Hence, it requires the interaction with customers, executive management, distributors, sales teams, product management, and suppliers. The development of original products, products improvements, product modifications, and new brands through the firm’s own R&D efforts. The major stages in product development are idea generation, screening, concept development & testing, marketing strategy, business analysis, product development, test marketing and commercialization

The competency includes conduct agriculture & agro-based products sales feasibility study, evaluate market response/feedback from the area, plan business development strategy, consolidate financial arrangement for business expansions, and review project implementation viability.

The outcome of this competency is to create and implement a strategic sales and marketing approach to commercial customers for all relevant product groups, maintain focus on industry trends, economic conditions and government regulations affecting commercial activity, create, recommend and implement appropriate response, identify product trends and recommend additions/modifications to product range and lead the achievement of annual growth plans for the business operation.
