Penerangan CUAgriculture & Agro-based products quality management is the marketing information system management to the systematic design, collection, analysis, and reporting of data relevant to specific marketing situation facing the organization whereby they wide activities, ranging from market potential and market shares studies, to assessment of customer satisfaction and purchase behavior, to studies of pricing, products, distribution, and promotional activities.

The person who is competent in agriculture & agro-based products marketing research management shall be able to carry out current market’s need study, plan market research strategy, consolidate market research implementation programme, analyze market research data and compile market research findings

The outcome of this competency unit is to enable information gathered by company’s marketing intelligence and marketing research system are analyzed for marketers make better decisions. They is no specific pre-requisite in this competency unit, however they may need to complying with integrity and ethical manner in defining the problem and research objectives, developing the research plan, implementing the research plan, and interpreting and reporting the findings.
