Penerangan CUCapacity building is a holistic approach to strengthening the abilities of individuals, organizations, and systems to perform core functions sustainably and to continue improve and develop over time.

Capacity building management in piping operation and maintenance requires leadership skills, interpersonal skills, and organisational management skills in order to succeed. It aims to improve the organisation’s performance with the ability to adapt and continue to develop over time. In addition, capacity building activities improve the performance of staff or workforces according to specific, defined competencies and job requirements.

The person who is competent in Capacity Building Management shall be able to administer a piping unit, lead piping team and manage stakeholders to improve performance in accordance with company’s policy and procedure and regulatory bodies’ requirements.

The outcome of this competency is to improve productivity, efficiency, and business continuity through the strengthening of operation, manpower competencies, positive attitude, sufficient resources and good leadership.
