| Penerangan CU | Proper maintenance on operational equipment prevents premature equipment failure which may cause injuries or fatalities. Drilling equipment is subjected to stress and vibrations during drilling which may lead to wear and tear. Drilling equipment maintenance activities are carried out by doing inspection, services, repair or replace. The competent person will be able to perform various services, check equipment and provide support in ensuring the fitness of tools, equipment and machineries. This CU covers a range of activities from perform pre- drilling maintenance on operational equipment, check fluid systems, perform equipment maintenance as scheduled, maintain consumable items and tools, maintain equipment and machinery, perform repair on equipment and machinery on site and troubleshoot systems failure. The outcome of this CU is to prepare tools, equipment and machineries and supplies for drilling process, assist in the formulation of systems, components or processes to meet specific output, provide assistance and support to the driller in operational equipment maintenance in terms of supervision and monitoring and comply with HSE act and procedures. |
