| Penerangan CU | The rig floor is a relatively small work area in which the rig crew conducts operations to support drilling, usually adding or removing drill pipes to or from the drillstring. The rig floor is the most dangerous location on the rig because heavy iron is moved around there. Drillstring connections are made or broken on the drillfloor. The competent person will be able to perform safety procedures, perform identification and selection of handling equipment as well as supervise maintenance of rig floor. This CU covers a range of activities from perform site safety procedures application and supervision, prepare operational equipment, perform selection of handling equipment, perform tubulars and equipment handling, prepare and run drill string, monitor casing and cementing process and maintain drill equipment and rig floor. The outcome of this CU is the development of competencies to support the driller in rig floor operations in terms of supervision and monitoring and comply with OSH act and procedures. |
