| Penerangan CU | The intake of a small hydro scheme is designed to divert a certain part of the river flow. This part can go up to 100 % as the total flow of the river is diverted via the hydro installation. Small Hydro Intake Maintenance describes the competency required to oversee and execute the maintenance and operation of small hydro intake works. A competent person in this CU shall be able to carry out small hydro intake operation and maintenance work preparation, carry out intake / trash rack cleaning work, carry out desander maintenance and carry out main intake operation and inspection. The outcome of this competency is to ensure efficient operation of small hydro intake that meet the production requirement, guidelines and company Standard Operating Procedure. |
