| Penerangan CU | Feeder/forest road marking describes the competency in marking feed road to access and exit for harvesting purposes in the logging site. This includes understanding the different categories of forest road, their standards and establishment requirements such as mode of transportation, topographical, bridges and culverts requirement and topographical features . The competent person in this CU shall be able carry out proposed forest road delineation, implement feeder/forest road alignment marking, carry out proposed and existing forest road measurement and prepare forest road alignment marking report. The outcome of this competency is ability to carry out feeder/forest road marking in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure and Harvesting Plan. To perform the CU, the competency owner is required to comply with all the safety measures, forestry law and regulations in the context of Sustainable Forest Management. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU Shall be able to carry out log landing/log yard and logging camp pre-establishment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure and Harvesting Plan. Upon completion of this competency units, trainees will be able to:- 1. Interpret proposed log landing/ log yard and logging camp location on harvesting map. 2. Mark proposed log landing/ log yard and logging camp locations. 3. Measured proposed log landing/ log yard and logging camp. 4. Prepare proposed log landing/log yard and logging camp marking reports. |
