| Penerangan CU | Tunnelling operation consist of tunnelling utilities preparation, civil and Mechanical & Electrical works, segment installation works, shotcrete lining works, grouting work, tunnel boring work and excavation work The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to coordinate tunnel survey and tunnel seismic/probing, perform pre-tunnelling work site preparation, tunnel support facilities installation, tunnel portal construction and excavation work. The outcome of this competency is to produce a knowledgeable personnel to ensure all activities been monitored closely and accurately in accordance with company policy, SOP, Local Authority regulation and Tunnel Construction Plan (TCP). |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to ensure all activities been monitored closely and accurately in accordance with company policy, SOP and Local Authority regulation. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to: - • Coordinate tunnel survey. • Coordinate tunnel seismic/probing. • Perform pre-tunnelling work site preparation. • Perform tunnel support facilities installation. • Perform tunnel portal construction. • Perform excavation work. |
| Pra-Syarat | Based on the workshop findings, it is decided that the minimum requirements for those interested to enrol in this course areas below:i. Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or ii. Penilaian Menengah Rendah (PMR) with 5 years working experience |
